Undergraduate

Admission Requirements: 
The minimum entry requirement for admission into the Department of Business Administration is GCE O/L, SSCE/NECO or any other relevant and acceptable equivalent with at least a Credit level pass at not more than two (2) sittings in five (5) subjects including English Language, Economics, Mathematics, and any two (2) from the list below
  • Social Science - (Geography or Government) or
  • Commercial - (Accounts, Bookkeeping, Business Management, Business Studies, Commerce, Insurance, Marketing, Office Practice, Financial Accounting, Short Hand, Typewriting) or
  • Science - (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Studies, Data Processing, Physics)

Candidates must pass Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) with the prescribed cut off point in the following subjects: Use of English, Mathematics, Economics and any other from the list below

  • Social Science - (Geography or Government) or
  • Commercial - (Accounts, Bookkeeping, Business Management, Business Studies, Commerce, Insurance, Marketing, Office Practice, Financial Accounting, Short Hand, Typewriting) or
  • Science - (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Studies, Data Processing, Physics)
Graduation Requirements:

To graduate, a student must successfully complete a minimum of 165 credits distributed approximately over the four (4) year period, plus the satisfactory completion of a minimum of 6 weeks of Industrial Training. This position is to satisfy both academic and professional requirements. All students are expected to meet the prescribed graduation requirements for their respective programmes before they can graduate. The required courses they are to take and pass before graduating are under the following categories:

  • National Universities Commission (NUC) Required Courses – NUC
  • University Required Courses – UNIV
  • College Required Courses – COLL
  • Compulsory Required Courses – COMP
  • Elective Courses – ELEC
  • Industrial Attachment – SIWES
